it turned into fall.

Mustard pants: thrifted.  Striped shirt: French Connection via Marshalls.  Jacket: Old Navy. Boots: Target.

It’s really turned into fall here in the Pacific Northwest.

It rained all weekend, the air is crisp, and I’ve been wearing my mustard colored pants.

Because really, what says fall more than mustard colored pants?

Maybe only riding boots and a jean jacket.

Oh look.

On a completely unrelated note, I found a miracle hair product.

Or rather, I stopped being an idiot and took the advice of my hair stylist back in Arizona, who suggested it months ago, and I didn’t listen.

But then when I ran to the grocery store a few weeks ago to pick up some more hair serum and found this:

on the shelf.

I grabbed it instead, and brought it home.

OH. MY. GOODNESS.

It’s like I have different hair.

Pretty much wiped out my split ends, makes my hair feel so silky, and it stays that way through the second and (let’s be honest) 3rd day sans washing.

I am in love.

Plus it was like maybe a dollar more than the hair serum I was going to buy anyway.

You should really go get yourself some.

ps. today is the last day to enter the shine giveaway.  hurry hurry my pretties…

Oh and I haven’t tried that serum but I will – I use the Organix shampoo (since I’m allergic to a preservative in 99% of shampoos)and it is AWESOME!

I love Moroccan oil and desperately need to get some due to this dry windy weather that’s giving me fly-trap hair. You are always adorable, but this outfit is super cute. I love the mustard & navy combo.

  10. Mustard anything is my favorite part of fall! And I love the boots! I will have to try that hair magic. I always blow off my hairdressers’ requests. Which might explain my horrific hair situation. Sigh.

You can also try applying almond oil to your hair and scalp an hour before you wash your hair. Wash your hair with regular shampoo and give it an extra rinse if required and Ta-dah! Silky soft manageable hair!

  17. organix products are my big secret! the argan oil shampoo and conditioner are amazing, but the serum is awesome! i’ve also been deep conditioning my hair with the deep conditioner once every week or two – makes my hair crazy soft! i constantly rave about their products – the only one i’m not as in love with is the brazilian keratin line (but it is more that i like it as opposed to love it like the other products)

  30. Like everyone else, I’m loving the mustard pants. I’m not sure I could rock em like you are…might go for red or turquoise. But mustard on a brunette is about as good as ketchup and mustard…or something like that : )
