I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday.  Craig and I woke up before the sun to hide eggs and lay out the kid’s Easter baskets.   After all the eggs were found and safely tucked back into the cartons in the fridge, we drove down to the cemetery and had breakfast with Ruby.  I made cheese danishes the night before, and we ate them with fresh strawberries while we read from the bible about the Savior’s resurrection.  I won’t lie and say my faith wasn’t shaken a bit the last year.  It’s not that I didn’t believe there was  a God, I just thought that maybe he forgot about me.  Now I know that isn’t true.  I know He’s watching over me and my sweet little family.  I know that He’s keeping my baby close until I get to be with her again.  And I know, above all that my Savior lives.  That He rose from the tomb on the third day and because of Him, death has no sting, the grave has no victory.  There is no end.

Families are Forever.

I love that video Because of Him, such a beautiful reminder and well put together. He does live and because He lives, we can all live again. Your sweet Ruby is not alone, and she can’t wait to see all of you again. Isn’t it a beautiful truth? Happy Easter, Robinson family.

  6. Beautiful pictures with even more beautiful words. Thank you for sharing your heart about Ruby. My sweet Mama died this past year and Easter was definitely different. I love how you took time to remember your daughter this holiday. I also loved the video you shared also…it was very moving. We do rejoice because He is Risen! I read your blog regularly, but never comment and today, I just wanted to tell you thanks for being real. Blessings.
