We had a wet and rainy weekend, and for the first time in months it actually felt like the PNW. It’s supposed to be 90 degrees and sunny again all week, so I didn’t mind the reprieve from the heat one bit. It gave me the chance to start practicing transitioning my summer pieces into fall. These Ikat anthro pants are one of my favorite pieces I’ve picked up this summer and I’m already excited for the possibilities of pairing these with all my fall sweaters and tops. Fall is by far my favorite time of year to get dressed (I’m a major layers girl) and I love finding creative ways to layer my summer pieces into fall. One of my favorites is pulling out my cognac vegan-leather moto jacket from Anthropologie I picked up last year. It has become such a closet workhorse and I’m just crazy about the fit and color of this gorgeous jacket. (The petites section of Anthropologie gets a big thumbs up from me.) I think every women needs cognac in her closet, it’s such a versatile color, you can pair it with just about anything.
