My oldest lost her first tooth last night. This might sound inconsequential, but trust me when I say it is a huge deal. When you have kids and they are old enough to start shedding their means of chewing you will understand why both me and her daddy were jumping up and down yelling wahoo!!! when Miss Hannah finally popped that little tooth out of her mouth. In true Hannah style she has been prepared for this moment since weeks ago when she went to the dentist and the hygienist told her she was soon to lose that little tooth. She drafted a letter to the tooth-fairy just for the occasion, that is so perfect in it’s youthful innocence, creativity and curiosity I thought it a crime not to share. She even had me spell check it… it read:
