diy applique tutorial.

(could you just die over Ava’s face in this picture?  I can’t look at it without cracking up.)
As promised, a super easy applique tutorial.  These little applique onesies literally take me less than 20 minutes to do, and I think they turn out so darling every time.  Plus I love that they are completely unique.  I’m pretty sure I’m going to be making these for all my littles and my nieces and nephews for Christmas.  Plus, I’m thinking monograms on some of my basic tees that are a bit boring.

you’ll need:
-onesies (or any shirt you want to use).
-Lite Steam-a-seam (you can get it at Joann’s)  I like the lite version because it’s not as stiff and it stitches up better at the end.
-scissors.
-a cute design.
-fabric.
-thread.
-a sewing machine. (optional)

(you don’t have to stitch the edges, but it will hold better through washing if you do, plus I think it’s cuter with the edges stitched)

That’s it!
If you are confused or have any questions, make sure to ask in the comments and I’ll answer them!
Cheers!
