quick and easy peanut butter chocolate protein shake recipe.

Since Monday is a fresh start to a new week, and a new chance to be healthy, I thought I would share my favorite quick and easy peanut butter chocolate protein shake recipe.  This is a great shake when you need a quick breakfast in a pinch, a good recovery after a workout, or you just want to curb your sweet tooth.  The best part is, it’s super filling, is under 150 calories and you can make it in about 3 minutes.

I start with a chocolate protein shake, which, by itself, is honestly pretty good, but this makes it so much better.  Then you add one scoop of chocolate PB fit powder (a heaping tablespoon) and a cup of ice.  Blend it up, and enjoy.   Literally, that’s it.

Adding the peanut butter powder and ice seriously turns a mediocre protein shake into a super yummy treat.   When you add the single scoop of PB powder the shake is still well under 200 calories, and it fills me up for hours.

And the biggest benefit for me is that it helps curb my sweet tooth.  Anyone else have a major sweet tooth?  It’s easier for me to say no to Haagen-Daz chocolate peanut butter ice cream (my favorite) if I have this instead.

Happy Monday everyone!  Here’s to a healthy and happy week.
