What you should be buying at Target this spring.

So I’ve been doing things I love from my favorite stores over on my instastories lately (like Ikea and some others), and I thought it would be fun to do one for every mother’s favorite store, Target over here on the blog cause I get such a fun response over there.  Every new season at Target is like a new fun surprise and I’m literally delighted every time I walk into that store… Plus you’ve gotta love a store where you can buy milk, a super cute skirt, some great modern farmhouse home pieces, all while snacking on fresh popcorn, amiright… hmmm, now I want some popcorn.

I just wish they had one closer to my house! (I have to drive 45 minutes to get to the closest one and it’s seriously sad.)  The struggle is real guys.  Serious, first world problems.

I popped in last week with Hannah and found so many cute things, so here we go with my favorites:

How dang cute is this Striped apron dress?  Such a perfect classic for summer and you can style it so many fun ways.

I bought this tiered ruffle shirt in white, and oh my goodness I want it in black now too because it’s so cute.  It’s a really great spring to summer transition piece.

Blush is my color this season and I love a great backpack for those days you’re running around with the kids, and especially for travel!  I think this one would be super cute for Europe this summer.

I tried on this striped ruffle skirt. in store but the smallest size they had in stock was an XS, and it was still a tad big but I am so excited because it comes in XXS online and it is well under $30.

These shoes are like a perfect free people knock-off and the price is insanely low.  They’re comfy too!  And they’ll literally go with everything.

Speaking of knock-offs, these look exactly like my amazing Marc Fisher wedges (also at a much, much lower price.)

Okay, so I know long shorts are tricky for most people, but this pair is actually so, so flattering.  I went up one size because I wanted a little more of a boyfriend fit.  Now I just need the warm weather to finally show up…

I love, love, love a good gingham top, and how cute is this one with the ruffle sleeves?  I love the little extra detail with that.  I call this kind of top a stand-alone piece because its a total outfit maker all by itself.

How cute is this little egg basket?  Definitely ordering it, since our chickens started laying this week.  Eeek!  You can keep fresh eggs out on the counter and this is perfect for displaying our pretty terra cotta colored eggs.

How cute is this striped floor pillow?  I need two for my modern farmhouse inspired family room.  I’m getting the itch to move things around…

I love this umbrella holder, the white and brass is perfect and fresh for the rainy season.  (If it ever stops snowing in New England.)

Always feel like adding more greenery to my house in the spring, loving the faux stems at Target.

A wood globe?  Literally need I say more, and it’s 20 bucks.  Yassss…

How perfect is this little cream dish?  There’s a sugar one too!  Dying.

Love these ledger prints in the floating frames.  So surprisign and classy and a really great price.

I love a good big wall clock and the wood is so pretty on this one.  Very modern farmhouse classic.

Cutest cheeky hello, goodbye rug and it’s under $15.  Perfect for a front porch.

Hey!! SO fun!! Our Target is also 45 minutes away! But that doesn’t stop us from making a “Target run”… 2 weeks ago I found a pair of blush soft sueded loafers that look a lot like the Sole Society ones all my bloggers are styling! I think they were around $20, too. SO comfy and adorable!! So with all of these ruffles, how do you iron them!!?? Also, great idea on sizing up for a more ‘boyfriend’ fit… I’ll have to try that!
Thanks for the post and have a wonderful week!!

I just ordered the cute apron dress, we;ll see how it looks on.
I can’t pull off the oversized blouses well since I’m so narrow shouldered, but they look cute on you.
