I feel like if the dancing lady emoji and New England had a baby, this skirt would be it. My husband and I were saying it’s kind of, “Mexico meets New England” or something. I completely love it. Ruffle skirts are all the rage this summer and you all know I’m crazy for anything with stripes, so this skirt was calling my name. (It’s didn’t hurt that it’s a great price too.)
I used to dread getting dressed in the summer, because it felt boring. Historically, there haven’t been a lot of options for getting dressed when you wear sleeves and knee length pieces, but with all the ruffles and fun textures out this summer I’m actually pretty excited. I feel like it’s getting easier to look cute and feminine without adding layers.
I can’t wait to wear this skirt with a pair of flat sandals and a graphic tee, or a cute cardigan and some ballet flats on a cool summer evening.
