Nordstrom Anniversary sale fitting room try-ons: part 2.

Okay guys, here’s part two of my fitting room series from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.   There were some pieces that I loved and some pieces that were just down right comical.  Feel free to enjoy at my expense. ;-)

If you have any questions about fit or material, ask them in the comments and I’ll make sure to get back to you!

striped peplum shirt.

This cute striped peplum was a great design and a great fit.

black scalloped sweater.

I love the fit and design on this black scalloped sweater.  It would be so cute with a tweed skirt, or just some jeans and boots. I’m not sure if you can tell here, but the bottom is scalloped too.

ruffle sweatshirt.

I thought I was going to love this one, but just no.  It was so weird and awkward on me.  I really wanted to like it, but it didn’t work.

Tie sweatshirt.

I actually love this one, but the tie is just a little too long for me.  Like it was awkwardly long.  Maybe that’s because I’m only 4’11” but seriously, it was just too long.

Gray sweater.

This gray sweater was gorgeous and so insanely soft, it was just too big for me.

Brown leather jacket.

I love the fit on this leather jacket, and the material is insanely soft.  I don’t really do puffy shoulders, because they make me look even younger (and I don’t need that, my height already does enough for me) and I have broad shoulders, so it’s not a spot I like to over emphasize.  Otherwise it’s a gorgeous jacket.

Black v-neck tee.

This tee is seriously so soft.  it runs big and the v-neck is very deep, which is why it didn’t come home with me.

black striped tee. leather skirt.

I love a great leather skirt and this one is so pretty and insanely soft.  The smallest they had in store was a 2 which was much too big for me, but I think its a TTS fit. (I normally wear a 00)

ruffle sweatshirt.

Okay, I think my face accurately describes my feeling about this one.  What the “h” is the design on this?  When I spotted it I thought to myself, “that’s either going to amazing, or so weird.”  It was the latter.
