I found the best full-length wide leg denim!

I was so excited earlier this year when I saw that full length wide-leg silhouettes were coming back into style. They are so flattering, and leg-lengthening and really work well for petite ladies in particular. Plus they are beyond comfortable and look so chic. My wide-leg full length Everlane trousers have been in constant rotation this season and I’ve been searching for the perfect flattering full-length wide leg denim for the last several months. Well, I finally found a pair that fit the bill!

Jeans. Top. Boots.

I ordered these jeans from Zara last week and was so excited when I tried them on, I literally gasped… they were perfect! The fit is sublime, they are flattering, leg lengthening, comfortable, the perfect mid-wash, and a high quality rigid denim. I cannot believe these jeans come in at under $50, they feel like $300 jeans.

As far as length goes, these are a classic long jean, so if you are petite you will need to take some length off. Luckily they come with an unfinished hem and it’s very quick and easy to cut your jeans off. You can watch how I do it here!

For fit, I went up 1 size from my normal jean size as these run small (this is typically with European brands), and the fit was perfect. I love the rise on these jeans and find them to me very flattering. Waist slimming, leg lengthening, and perfect pocket placement. You’re going to feel like a million bucks in these.

For styling, you always want to balance your proportions, so if you are wearing a full jean, embrace a more fitted top, and tuck it in all the way around. I love this Willa top from Faherty and it pairs perfectly with this style of jean. They would also be great with the Quince cashmere sweater. I paired the jeans with some great round-toe Chelsea boots here, but you can easily style them with heels, flats or even some great sneakers.
