Okay, so how was everyone’s first week back after Christmas?  I’m not going to lie, last week was rouuuuugh.  Ug, I hate that first week back.  Even though, it’s my birthday and even though I tell myself I’m not going to be the cliche` and be all grouchy and sluggish, it is inevitably what  happens.  This week is my week though!  I’m back on track, as they say…

And speaking of track, can we just talk about track pants for a hot second?  I kind of completely forgot about these.  If you want to know the truth, I’ve never really gotten my closet back into shape since we moved into our house–oh, six months ago, and while it’s not a total disaster, it’s definitely not organized and when my closet isn’t organized, I forget about things that I have, like this awesome pair of track pants I bought last year that are oh so comfortable, and also make me feel really great and a little bad-a if you want to know the truth.  Well, as bad-a as you can feel when your 4’11” and don’t even watch rated-R movies.  Any-way.  I don’t know where I was going with this… oh yeah.  Track pants.  They are such a great option if you’re looking for something comfy, but you don’t want to hang out in yoga pants all day.  I really like wearing a pair of stilettos with them, I love to contrast a piece that’s typically pretty casual (track pants) with one that’s typically dressy (stilettos).   A little surprising… I also like it because stilettos aren’t a typical mommy shoe.  Meaning, it’s not all that practical, and you know me, rebel that I am, I laugh in the face of practicality.
