fit and flare: summer’s favorite silhouette.

Yesterday was so warm and sunny.  It was the perfect day to put on my lovely English dress and take a summer drive through the country in our little Italian car.  It felt like vacation… almost.

Summer is the ideal time of year for my favorite dress silhouette.  Fit and flare.  I love this classic style so much it’s ridiculous.  But it always makes me feel like I just jumped out of the 1950’s, (you know, in the best most Audrey Hepburn glamorous sort of way) and anytime I put something on that makes me feel glamorous on a Monday, I call that a win.
