clothes-sick.

Happy Lovers Day, everyone!  I hope you have something fabulous planned for this evening…
So it’s day 13 and I really must say that I am starting to miss the rest of my clothes.  I’m so clothesick for the rest of my closet.  (It’s like homesick, but about your clothes. Yes, I just made that up.)  I thought of the best combination the other day, and then I remembered that the rest of my wardrobe is outlawed right now.  Boo.  But on the other hand, I never would have thought to pair together some of the stuff I’ve been pairing together if it wasn’t for the 30 for 30, and I feel like I’m going to know so much better how to use all my clothes when this thing is over, so I guess I’m learning from it.  But man, it is not for the faint of heart. ;-)

I cried at least 3 times while we were watching the Sound of Music as a family last night.  I know, pathetic.  It’s just so moving when the camera pans across the beautiful Austrian countryside and catches Julie Andrews spinning around, arms spread wide, singing her heart out… see you’re getting all emotional too.  I’m telling you guys, motherhood turns you into a sap.  This has nothing to do with my clothes, I just wanted to tell you.

I feel the same way! Also a little silly for missing my clothes. We can do it! Just two more weeks and our closets are OURS.

  4. I cry every freaking time I watch the Sound of Music. I can’t help it. We are soul sisters.

Although you are clothesick you are still looking DANG good girl! You can do it! Plus, having a sassy little polka dot number like that one can only help things!

Your Sound of Music comment made me LOL! :) You are so funny.
This is one reason why I haven’t tried the 30 for 30 challenge…I feel like I would constantly be wanting to wear everything else in my closet! :)

i totally know what you mean about being clothes-sick!! that’s exactly how i felt when i did the challenge last time. i was so sad to see the rest of my clothes in my closet being neglected every single day. still, it does teach you that you have more clothes than you need and you do get to know your 30 items pretty well. :)

i love this dress that you picked out for today and the coral accessories are perfect for spring! you’re doing a great job on the remix!

    cute and little

The challenge makes you realize how much you love your clothes. Love the polka dots and pop of red with the necklace.
