It was so windy in Phoenix yesterday. I mean like full size garbage cans tipped over, trash blowing down the street windy. It broke branches on two of our palm trees and turned the air brown. Whenever it’s windy like that it kicks up all the desert dust and kind of blots out the sun in this bizarrely hazy way. I always feel like I’m living on Saturn when it happens, or in some deserty version of the twilight zone. Last night the rain came and washed all the dirt out of the air. You could smell the desert rain so strong, even inside the house with all the windows closed. Such a nice smell.
Speaking of nice things. This Gap pullover is like the perfect spring sweater. It is so soft and lightweight I have to convince myself not to sleep in it. It’s that comfortable. Plus, mint is kinda my favorite color right now.
I tried that sweater on over the weekend and totally copped out AT THE REGISTER because I already have a mint cardigan sweater. Now seeing it on you I may need to rethink that poor choice…
