By the time spring rolls around every year, I am just so ready to chuck my heavy winter darks to the back of the closet and pull out anything light and breezy. Florals are a real soft-spot during these months between winter and summer, and there’s nothing I love more than a dress that doubles as a garden party.
I also love strappy wedges in the spring and summer months. I’ve been looking for the perfect cognac pair for the past few years, (it’s hard to find really specific shoes in a size 5) so I was pretty happy when I found this pair at ShoeMint. They are exactly what I was looking for. Plus, they make me about 5 inches taller, which you know, when you’re my height is a real positive, and (added bonus) they’re still a breeze to walk in. What made me the most happy was how comfortable these were right out of the box. A lot of the time I feel like strappy shoes really cut into your feet the first few wears, but the leather on these wedges is soft and super comfy. Cognac is a great neutral shoe color and one of my go-to’s especially when I travel, because it can be paired with just about anything.
