Three random things about me.

1. One of my favorite classes in college was film art.  I took it to fill a generals requirement, but I really really loved it.  My professor was really cool, and Craig and I were dating at the time, so he would come with me to a bunch of the film viewings.  Free date!  Anyways, my prof really loved the movie Annie Hall.  He used to go on and on about it.  It bothered me for the last 12 years that I’ve never seen that movie.  Well, I tried to watch it last night and I hated it.  Besides Diane Keaton’s amazing tie outfit, it was horrible.  I’m sure I’m going to upset hard core film connoisseurs here, but I couldn’t get through it.  Maybe the ending redeems the whole movie, but honestly, I didn’t get that far and #sorrynotsorry.

2.  This is my husband’s vintage British sports car.  It’s probably the most impractical car on the planet he could have bought, but  it’s a really fun car to look at and ride in.  Loud and funky, and also really really tiny.  I love it so much, and so does he, and so do the kids.  And (tiny hiccup) I am also incapable of driving it.  Like literally.  I cannot reach the pedals, or see over the steering wheel, and I’ll need legit pedal blocks and a fairly impressive booster seat to remedy the problem.  Shorty genes strike again.

3. I can tell the air humidity levels with surprising accuracy based solely on the state of my hair.  If I’m silky smooth, we’re looking at a 10% humidity.  The mop situation going on in these pictures puts us at about 70% and if we get up around 100%, let’s not even talk about it.

I found that this ability is useful basically never.  Just your average random stupid human trick.

Okay, your turn: three random things about you.

    2. I grew up in Sacramento, too, live in the AZ now, hopefully live in Oregon/Washington in the future! I crave trees and green and glorious rain!

    3. I don’t know who Chris Martin/Coldplay is even singing about anymore. I miss singing myself hoarse to Gwen in my car.

    2. I absolutely love fonts. I have a collection of hundreds and growing. I notice the fonts used everywhere and will hunt until I find the one I feel is just right for my project.

    1. I am the crankiest person ever when I’m sleep-deprived. I can take all kinds of physiological needs except that one. I always think how I will survive when I have a baby, but they say moms have super powers and I believe in that. Baby sleeper, my mum calls me.

    2. I love pink. I love flowers. I HATE pink flowers. How is that?

    3. I am finally ready to fall in love again. Better than that, only falling in love indeed.

Okay, here are 3 random things about me:

One. I have an obsession with Vera Bradley bags. I must have a collection of over a hundred.

Two. I am getting married next May to my best friend, and I can’t wait! Plus, I might be biased here, but I think I caught quite the looker. ;)

Three. My mom tried teaching me to speak Italian while growing up, but I was too stubborn and didn’t want to. Now, I’m 23 years old and trying to teach myself the language so that I can communicate with Italians while on my honeymoon. Funny, how things work out.

Random facts about me, hmmm …….

    1. I have recently learned that I no longer love chocolate (or any sweet thing) like I used to. I would 100 times rather have a great meal or something savoury than something very sweet. The exception to that is high quality dark chocolate and super yummy hot cocoa. They are always welcome.

    2. I am a grammar and punctuation Nazi (cue all the corrections on my own mistakes). It drives many people crazy but I just notice those things. I *try* very hard not to point them out all the time.

    3. I am a terrible housekeeper and interior decorator. I have trouble making up my mind and in turn, find things disorganized and chaotic much of the time. I am by no means messy but the adage “A place for everything and everything in it’s place”, while a lovely idea, does not exist in my home :(
