white and nude bag

Wide-leg pants: Banana Republic. (old. similar.) Silk Top: Everlane.  Shoes: Enzo Angiolini. (similar.) Bag: Melie Bianco (c/0) (similar.) Necklace: JCrew. (similar. and here.) Sunglasses: Target. (similar swoon worthy.)

One of my favorite fashion rules to break is the whole “no white after labor day.”  White is so striking year round, if you can muster the guts to brave it in the muddy season, it can feel so chic.  I like putting a softer spin on it in the autumn/winter months by switching to a cream, but no matter how you wear it, white year round is where it’s at.

A few pieces below that have me seeing, well white.  FYI that white leather column skirt is on it’s way to me now (it’s been despatched- I love the emails ASOS sends me) and I can hardly wait…

I’ll be wearing white, and nobody had better say anything about it.

I still need a necklace like that. Saw a cute similar one in Target, but when the label says “not for those under the age of 15”, I wonder. I guess that must mean people in that group absorb more toxic heavy metals? I wish I knew if this jewelry…even at more expensive stores…is truly safe. But we don’t even know if our dinnerware is safe, so…
