Tulle Skirt: Corilynn & Co. Top: Old Navy. (similar here. I buy size 10-12 in boys, works like a charm.) Heels: Enzo Angiolini. (similar.) Bag: Melie Bianco. (similar  here.) Pearls: Vintage (similar.) Necklace: JCrew. Ring: TJMaxx (similar.) Sunglasses: H&M. (similar.) Nails: Essie (really red.) Lips: MAC (russian red.)

A festive holiday look for you in our brand new Ebony Tulle Skirt on this lovely Tuesday.  Because, as it turns out, black tulle is just as fun as white.  I love dressing down uber formal pieces with something a little more casual, like a gingham top, then I stack on the jewelry and go for a deep red lip, because it’s Christmas time, and why not?

Here’s a little tip for you all, if you can’t find gingham in the color you want (why don’t they carry more colors for women?) Consider raiding the little boys section.  You can always find gingham shirts in a myriad of colors.  (I usually buy either a size 10 or 12, and normally wear a XXS in women’s) ;-)

And speaking of black, here’s a friendly little public service announcement reminder, that our biggest sale of the year is this Friday, and we’ve got a whole bunch of fun new pieces dropping in the shop this week, just in time for it.  I can hardly contain my excitement, eeek!

XO,

Cori

    I love it!

I need to try J. Crew Factory shirts. Not much selection in the petites now, but maybe the XXS in regular sizes or the little boy’s shirts won’t be too big. I hate things too big in the arms and shoulders…

Not sure if you purchased your new Hunter’s yet, but Jean from Extra Petite has some interesting tidbits today about the packable version.
