Just a little layered look with my favorite tweed blazer and a denim vest, accented with a pop of my favorite color right now… I’m not going to lie, I never thought denim vests would come back in, but they definitely fill me with nostalgia.  Taking me right back to high school…  I love using it as a layering piece, especially under jackets and blazers.  The lack of sleeves keeps it from feeling and looking too bulky.

I really love this tweed blazer.  Every time I wear it I appreciate it more because it. is. so. versatile.  But you know, Boden never lets me down.  It must be because they’re British.  Sometimes I feel like all the best things are British.  I mean, English tweed, crumpets, Jane Austen, that accent…

I could go on, but.

Today is my baby’s 3rd birthday…

So naturally we’ve been playing dollies and building forts and playing in her teepee and eating treats all day.  3-year-old birthday’s are so delightful.  And easy.  She’s happy to just have me play with her, and I am as obsessed as ever with that little spunky girl.
