Blazer: H&M. (almost identical here.) Blouse: Loft.  Jeans: ZARA. (similar here.) Shoes: Nordstrom. (similar here here and here.) Clutch: ASOS. (similar here and here.) Necklace: J.Crew Factory. Sunglasses: Kate Spade. (similar here.)

I love casual day-to-night looks, where you can easily throw on a necklace, and a pair of pumps, switch out your handbag for a clutch and you’re ready to go.  This boyfriend blazer I bought a couple years ago and it’s stood the test of time when it comes to versatility.  I think blush is one of those shades that’s always going to be in style and looks lovely paired with so many different colors.  Since blazers are a super wardrobe workhorse, eternally stylish-endlessly versatile, I think it’s really fun to mix it up a bit and try them in a different color other than black, blue or tweed.  I’d love to add a great poppy red blazer this year.

Don’t you just love February?  It makes me want to wear pink all month and leave surprises all over the place for my kids and husband.  Love is in the air!

What are you doing for Valentines??

Speaking of which, I really love this podcast, in general and this week’s episode about Valentine’s day was gold.  It’s super heartfelt and funny.  And also, I feel like listening has helped me think more intentionally about my marriage.  Anyway, listen you won’t regret it.  (also the episodes that say Explicit have like maybe a swear word (d#$@ or S*$%) so don’t be worried.

Any tips/tricks to be able to wear heels most of the day especially as a busy parent?

heels with straps are a lifesaver, make sure that the fit is really good and cushion inserts help a ton! I like to wear smaller heels when I’m chasing my toddler, like my booties that have about a 2 inch heel. A lot of times I’ll wear pointy toe flats during the day (for practicality) and switch it up with stilettos at night. Hope this helps!
