I love pairing super feminine pieces, like this pink top, soft pink saddleback and pink pumps with ripped boyfriend jeans. It keeps the look from getting to precious and I really like the contrast. This is one of those outfit formulas that I constantly have in my back pocket, easy to pull out any day and like what I’m wearing. If I’m busy or running a lot of errands with a toddler in tow, I’ll switch up the heels for a great pair of flats like these or these.
Speaking of errands. I’m leaving for Dallas in just under two days and then after I get back I’ve got about a day at home before we turn around and all 6 of us jet down to SoCal for a week frolicking with the mouse. So I’m kind of trying to do double time on packing me, for my first trip and then the rest of us for the second. The logistics of it all are super fun as you can imagine…

I usually love your positive posts and outfits. Today though I am a bit disappointed at your choice of links. When clicking on a “similar pair” of pink pumps, I was sent to a pair in nordstrom that cost almost $600. You do not generally feature items in that price range and even pride yourself on thrifty purchases. To link a drastically more expensive pair of shoes in order to make more money when it is off brand is not completely fair to your readers. I hope you understand my frustration and keep future links closer to the original item featured. Thank you
I’m so sorry about that! That was definitely not my intention! I bought my pink pumps last year and the original pairs that I linked to as similar to these ones are out of stock now. This was the closest pair I could find in stock yesterday morning, mixed with a busy week, and not enough time to hunt down another similar pair, I probably should have just not linked to any… I will definitely try to find a similar pair for a more reasonable price. I would never want to be unfair to my readers, and I’ll work harder to find a more appropriate pair. xo, Cori
