If you follow me on Instagram, facebook or twitter, then you’ve probably seen me posting little previews of some of our new designs coming soon. I’m over the moon excited to announce that today is the day! We are launching our new line on Kickstarter! Yay! I’ve been wanting to do one for a really long time, because the whole concept of kickstarter is just really cool, and I think crowd funding is a really smart, healthy, awesome way to fund and grow businesses. And I love that the funding for creative projects like albums, movies, art and yes even clothing lines has become democratized and is no longer in the hands of a few gatekeepers. All this to say, I’m super stoked to be launching our very own kickstarter today, because it’s an amazing website doing amazing things for some really awesome creative people, and I hope I can count myself among them…
Now about this new line. You guys. These new pieces are going to knock your socks off. I’ve been working my little fingers to the bones, day and night for over a year, and I am so proud of them and excited to share them with you. Here’s a little taste below of our flagship piece, The Capri Dress. You know how I feel about bold stripes, boat necks, half sleeves and pockets. I thought I better just combine them all into one dress, and it’s literally my favorite thing I’ve ever designed.

If you are interested in backing our project and owning a piece from our new line you can do it right there on our project page. We’ve got some really fun rewards, and I’d love it if you went and checked them out. (plus we have a few early bird specials so…;-) )
Also, I just wanted to thank all of you for the love and support you given me and my family over the past couple of years as we’ve done this line, and as we’ve been through sad times and happy times. You have no idea what your emails, comments, messages, prayers and love have meant to me. The only reason I have the guts to do this at all is because of all of you. So thank you, thank you, thank you so much!

I’m confused how this works. I was ordering a pencil skirt-it takes me to amazon-but haven’t seen where I select color and size?…help please.
You choose a reward and go through amazon, after the project funds we will send you an email to get the size and color you’d like. Thanks so much for backing our project!
I love the new line! I couldn’t combine multiple rewards (a couple of dresses, plus a skirt) on Kickstarter, so I had to create two profiles. I just wanted to share in case anyone else was trying to do the same thing. I’m so excited! I’m in love with the dresses and new pencil skirt colors. I’m still debating coming back for the peter pan collar dress too!
I love, love, love the Capri dress and think it would be perfect for an event I have on May 14th. The description says shipping in May. Any chance you have an idea of when in May? Thank you!

Hey Cori! So so excited for you! I asked this question on Facebook too, but what is the circumference of the arm on the Capri dress? Just wanting to check because you’re so tiny and I know my arms wouldn’t fit in that hole :) Just wanted to check! Thanks!

Congrats! Please don’t think of this as a terrible, troll-y thing to say, but I noticed you had a teeny typo and thought you may want to fix it. You’ve written “Backing this project with help us manufacture our new line, and grow our dream,” but I think you meant “Backing this project WILL help us manufacture…”
