I have about 10 different, slightly incoherent thoughts that I cannot seem to stream together into a post that makes any kind of sense. So here you go. My random thoughts in a list.
1. My front door is enormous. I seriously never realized it was that big before. I mean, I knew it was big, but it just didn’t seem that big until I saw the me/door ratio.
Goliath door/Me. |
2. I know these pictures are su-per lame, but this was the best I could come up with last night, after I got back from class, and I felt like this outfit was worthy of documentation.
3. Yesterday was the first day back to school for me and since the hubs is still in Seattle I had to have someone come watch the kids so I could go sit through a bizarre movie in one class, and an in depth explanation of a syllabus that spells everything out perfectly clearly in the other. I felt like such a schmuck leaving my kids with a babysitter 5 minutes after I picked up Hannah from school. “How was school honey? Oh, good, here’s a babysitter, make sure to do your homework.” Hello, it’s nice to meet you, I’m the World’s Worst Mother.
4. On the bright side, my new French teacher seems to be about a gazillion times better than my last one.
5. Every time Carter has preschool, Ethan wants me to play action figures with him, but I don’t think I’m any good at it, cause he keeps having to tell me the right way to “pew” the bad guys. “Pewing” is my kids word for shoot. And also, when Ethan say play it sounds like pray. “Please pray with me!” What a saintly child.
6. I found this awesome Cafe yesterday that makes Indian Fry Bread, which I was obsessed with from about 3rd until 5th grade. Living in the hotter-than-hades southwest has it’s benefits.
7. These trouser jeans are too die for. A woman in Walmart told me so yesterday. Plus they are su-per comfy. Win, win.
8. I took a wicked awesome picture in the desert when we went hiking on Friday, want to see it? There you go. You’re welcome.
9.Our hike only lasted about 1 hour and then it got dark.
10. I just spelled desert with 2 S’s. Whoops.
Have a fabulous Wednesday. The week is half over, woot woot.

So dang cute! I hope I look as good as you when I am a mom!
WOW.. Cori, I didn’t realize how big your front door was. Cute flower:)
Cori, I want you to be sitting here with me in my living room. I want to spend 5 hours making a skirt that is supposed to only take one. I want to see your kissable kids playing with Bella on the floor. I want Craig to be blasting a cool Born movie. I want to live close to you and your family, because I they are also my family and I don’t feel whole when you guys are away. Love you sis!!!
I love the outfit… I also love random thoughts #5 and #7. Haha!
Bah ha ha, that door! It is seriously huge! In other news, I really like your outfit. That kind of bow-shirt always looks dorky on me, sooooo I’m jealous that you’re pulling it off so great. That yellow sweater and the flower pin are great additions. =)
And PS: not the World’s Worst Mother. Have you ever watched “Toddlers and Tiaras”? Because, seriously. That’s all you need to know. =) And also, my mom was always a better mom when she had other stuff to give her attention to (besides us 5 kids). It’s good to develop all the sides of yourself – you end up with more of yourself to give.
That picture of the sunset in the desert is beautiful! When I lived in Rexburg, the sunsets here were something that I missed dearly. Love it!
