I am so glad I cleaned my entire house today, because I have an itch to go thrifting tomorrow. And since my house is clean I don’t have to spend my entire Saturday cleaning. Because Saturday, as we all know, is garage sale heaven, and I haven’t been in so long. Don’t worry, I will stay true to my no new clothes, 30 for 30 rule. I just want something fabulous and cheap for my newly painted room. Is that too much to ask? I think I deserve it, after all I cleaned all 3 bathrooms today!
Speaking of thriftiness. Can I tell you a secret? I am a champion bargain shopper. For reals. Let’s examine this outfit for example: The dress, this fabulous polka-dot beauty, was a whopping $6.95 (brand new)marked down from 40$, the boots (which are genuine leather) were on sale, I picked them up for 35$ down from 50$, the cardi was 20$ (I don’t think it was on sale–shocking) and the scarf, wait for it 1.99$ down from 20$. Original outfit cost: 130$, my cost: 64$. The point:
You don’t have to be wealthy to look nice.
(This is assuming that I look nice though.)
You DO look nice! I love that you did red/white/blue, which is such a great combination but can look super 4th of July a lot of the time; doing a navy and a rusty-red tones it down in a nice way. Also, I love a medium polka-dot. Very nice (and way to go on the price, lady!).
I love a good bargain too, and you look great!
i LOVE this outfit. i pretty much love all your outfits, actually. that’s why i gave you a stylish blogger award!! check it out :)

You dress so cute…no worries there! Anyone can go in a store and pay full price for an outfit hanging on a model – it takes SKILL to bargain shop! :) Kuddos to you. I love the thrill of the hunt, so I totally understand how happy it can make you to find something for CHEAP!!
