| You may have noticed that I rolled up my trouser pants so I could wear flats. Cause I’m awesome and versitile like that. Plus I love making my legs look short. |
So tomorrow, er yesterday, was so much better. Just in case you were wondering. I wore my hair au naturale, which makes me feel all wild and free. Mostly because my hair looks like a lion’s mane. Also, my A-mazing mother-in-law flew in from Idaho for a long weekend visit. Wahoo! You guys, I’m not exaggerating when I say I have the world’s BEST mother-in-law. Imagine if you can the sweetest, most thoughtful person you’ve ever met… now multiply it by six. (anyone getting the Megamind reference? anyone? bueller?) So anytime anyone comes to visit us from out of town we try to woo them into loving Arizona by taking them to all the cool places, so they’ll come back again. You know, the ones where all the popular families of five hang out. No matter what, Joe’s Farm Grill is always first on the list.
I’m in love with everything about this place. If you live in the valley of the sun, you have got to get your little patootie over to Gilbert and check this place out. So, Joe’s Farm Grill used to be an actual farm (shocking! I know) until they turned it into a restaurant. They even kept most of the original house. It serves the freshest most delicious home-grown delights you’ve ever tasted. Yum. Also, they’ve kept a bunch of the land and turned it into an agritopia, where people can rent a little plot and all garden together. Um, hello! That’s the most fantastic thing I’ve ever heard of. I had garden envy guys, and I don’t even garden. Fabulous.
