There is something so irresistibly fabulous about polka dots. I believe I would wear either stripes or polka dots every single day if it was acceptable. Is it acceptable? I haven’t decided yet. Yesterday, I went all wild and paired my favorite polka dot dress with my lovely ruffled red shell from The Loft. My own little version of color blocking. Do you know what? I think color blocking is just a whole lot of fun.
Speaking of a whole lot of fun. This weekend was so fabulous. We even got my mother-in-law to try sushi. All do to my fantastic powers of persuasion. We did some shopping (only window for me, don’t worry), took the kids to a little amusement park downtown, went to Paradise Bakery, watched a girly Victorian movie, and had Gelato twice, yes twice. Yum. Not so fabulous, putting my mother-in-law on a plane back to Idaho this morning. Boo. I love that lady. I told her she could move into our guest room, but I guess my father-in-law would miss her. Hmpf. Selfish…
