mellow yellow.

Shirt, Cardi, Trousers: Old Navy.  Belt, Ring: Target.  Wedges: Ross.

Do you like my bun?  I had to add my own little twist to the classic blogger bun, because: A. I’m cool like that, and B. I can’t pull off slicked back hair.  There are a number of reasons why, not the least of which include my round face and odd hair line.  I’m cool with it though.  You’ve got to know your own body/hair well enough to know what you can and cannot rock.  Also, I decided last year that I loved pairing yellow and grey.  Apparently that feeling is sticking around for awhile.  Enough about clothes.

Moving on.

We went climbing again last night.  It was epic.  Then we gorged ourselves on sushi while sitting next to possibly the most obnoxious group of people in the world, who dropped the F-bomb at least 4 times during dinner and spent almost their entire meal discussing in great detail the many merits of movies like “The Hangover,” and “Get him to the Greek.”  Classy.  Is it a requirement for being trashy that you make a nuisance of yourself where ever you go?  I’m seriously wondering.

I love the weekends.  Especially in the spring.  The windows are open and we’ve got lawn mowing, nap taking, furniture building, and yummy food eating on the docket.  The kids have been playing all day without once begging to turn on the TV.  That is pure bliss.  Happy kids, happy mom, happy life.
So what are you doing this weekend?

  7. I love the yellow! I am new to the fashion blogs but must say I find myself inspired here!! I am a mother of three and am looking to get out of the “rut” that I have been in lately.
