sausage toes.

T-shirt: The Loft. Cardigan, Jeans: Target.  Shoes: Ross.  Necklace: The Vintage Pearl.  Gravel pile in the background: c/o my neighbor.

I have kid feet.  You know what I mean right?  You know how little kids have really short stubby toes and feet that are wider than they are long?  Yeah, those are so my feet.  You should have seen them when I was pregnant with my daughter and I puffed up like a marshmallow.  So. not. pretty.  When I was in high school, my sister’s boyfriend l told me that my toes looked like little sausages.  Yeah, it stuck.  Sausage toes.

The sad part about feet (and hands for that matter) is that there is NOTHING you can do about them.  There are no exercises to make fingers and toes less chubby/stubby.  Trust me, I’ve looked.  That’s why I about died when I found these sandals the other day.  First of all, they are ridiculous.  I mean what girl doesn’t want large flowers on her feet?  And secondly, they cover-up my stubs.  All the benefits of sandals, while effectively camouflaging the sausage toes.  Win, win.

And notice if you will that the concrete is wet.  It rained!  Today.  In Arizona.  It was only a few drops and it was still 88 degrees, but it rained dang it.  Oh and my kids thought it necessary to put on their rain boots and big winter coats to go in the back yard and play in the maybe 10 drops of water that fell.  Brilliant.  I love my kids.  That’s why I wear them around my neck.

 The end.

Oh those those are cute sandals! What brand are they? Must find them asap!

At least your feet are small. I have size 9 “Fred Flintstone” feet. I know there is nothing you can do about them … Polish is key to making them tolerable ;-)

You are so darn cute no one even notices the stubby toes!! :) Love the sandals – wish we had a Ross here! My toes are so long and skinny that they look like fingers…kind of gross. I love sandals so I just embrace it and go on!
