I’m feeling very whimsical today. I wish my life had a soundtrack, cause it would be playing something lovely today. Yesterday the bells at school were playing songs from old musicals while I walked to class. I really wanted to start dancing away right there, you know something very Gene Kelly “Singing in the Rain,” swinging around on lamp posts and such. But then I remembered that kind of behavior is not socially acceptable(why?), and I didn’t want to frighten my fellow students. Plus it never rains here. And I was late. Just so you know, I’m almost always late to everything. I kinda hate that about myself, but still can’t get anywhere on time. It’s Friday, so I’m going to treat myself to some thrifting with the boys, and I am super excited about all the sewing I’m going to be doing this weekend (just hold your breath for the up-and-coming Easter frocks), and going bike shopping for the kids Easter tonight with Mr., and to see The King’s Speech with him too. Which was re-released PG-13! Yay! (Cause I don’t watch rated R’s) 2 hours of Mr. Darcy. Yes please. And I’m wearing possibly the world’s most comfortable dress with my polka dot scarf, and my hair is braided into a side knot. Lovely. Happy. Spring.
