adventures in thrifting.

The only time I wish I had bigger feet is when I go thrifting.  There aren’t too many gems in  size 5.5.
(sometimes I get lucky.)

And yeah, I take my kids thrifting, cause I’m ghetto like that. And I get them all hopped up on cheddar pop.
That’s how we roll.
(in the cart that is)

Old bottle with cork, perfect addition to the collection of green bottles in my kitchen.

 Score of the trip:
Mustard yellow, alligator purse by Liz Claiborne.  Big enough to hold all my mom junk.  Little spot to clip my keys so they don’t get lost.  In mint condition.  So what if the inside smells like my grandma’s house used to.  It’s got a green zipper and pink polka dot fabric on the inside.  To die for.
And fabreeze, you know is very effective.

If I’ve wished it once, I’ve wished it 1000 times… why can’t the goodwill organize their shoes by size instead of color??? I always find the most awesome shoes, only to be disappointed once again that they’re not a size 9.

  6. I agree on the shoe size – I’m a 5 or 5.5 – hard to find deals.
