an eyebrow thing.

Boyfriend Jeans: Gap.  T-shirt: Ross.  Belt: ?? Wedges: Old Navy.  Scarf: The Loft.  Necklace: The Vintage Pearl.

Do you have one part of your face/body that you just obsess over.  Someone please say yes so I don’t feel like a total crazy.  For me it’s my eyebrows.  Ever since that first fateful episode with the tweezer (think: way too short, way uneven) I’ve sorta kinda obsessed about my eyebrows.   It took months to regrow the mistake and a little bit of a hint from my mom that maybe she should “help” me pluck my eyebrows for a little while, before the brows got  back to being normal, and unfortunately I knew nothing at the time of eyebrow pencils, so I swore that from then on, I would never be seen with unsightly brows.  Also unfortunately, my brows are not identical.  This tormented me for years!  I swear, one of my big goals in life has been to get my brows looking perfectly even. But since they don’t grow in that way, it’s looking like a fruitless endeavor.  Anyway, most days they look pretty good, more like sisters than twins, but still.  Obviously, this was not one of those days. Hi bloggers, I’d like you to meet renegade eyebrow.  (She’s the one on the left.  I like to call her, slightly askew).

Tweeze on.

yes I am aware of the little peekaboo.  awesome.  so classy.

*side note: having perfect eyebrows isn’t my only goal, by the way, I someday hope to conquer the skinny jean and find the perfect shade of bright red lipstick.  I like to reach for the stars.

Well, for what it’s worth I think your brows look like twins and they appear to be perfectly plucked and shaped.

I LOVE those wedges! Such a perfect spring color and they look so comfy! I haven’t been to Old Navy in forever, maybe I should go take a look…

I am telling you, you want L’Oreal British Red. It’s under their corals, but seriously it is the most neutral, pure bright poppy red out there. I’m a light olive with some uneven pinkiness to my skin and finding a red that didn’t orange me out was a struggle. This one is amazeballs. Which probably means L’Oreal will discontinue it soon, such is muh life. Buy in bulk.

    And Happy Mother’s Day. :)

Yeah, I think my first comment on your blog was about loving your eyebrows.

Personally, I hate my left brow with a passion. Maybe it’s a “thing?” Like, left eyebrows just suck?

I have actually always thought you had perfect eyebrows! Lol. Isn’t it funny how something we are so self conscious about, others think is amazing??

I also LOVE these wedges! So cute and summery :)

I have that same problem with my left eyebrow! I don’t really notice it until I see a picture of myself and it drives me crazy. I even tried to let my eyebrows grow for a few months and they never filled in where I needed them to, so I think I’ve given up!

Your eyebrows are perfect! I love them! There is a great product from Bare Minerals. You can use it to darken and thicken your brows and it looks so natural!! My mom just introduced it to me a few days ago and I love it. I want thicker brows, so I’m using it to help!
