the help.

Skirt: La Vie Petite.  Blouse: H&M (sleeves changed by me).  Earrings: Fred Meyer.  Shoes: Target. Jade Bracelet: Gift from Mr.

Don’t worry, I do remember that this blog is primarily about my clothes.  And oh look, here they are.  My Sunday duds.  I think I’ve shared before my love of getting dressed on Sunday, maybe like 10 times.  Well anyway, on Sunday I felt a bit loud in this get-up whilst at church, I’m thinking I should have thrown on a cream colored cardi, to tone this puppy down.  And also, my hair, while it may look effortlessly side-swept was quite the thorn in my side all day.  My heavy locks spent all of church trying to pry their way out of their bobby pins, and wrestling Mr. Ethan certainly wasn’t helping.  This is why I wear it down all the time, my hair is too fat for up-do’s.

Moving on.

I went to the movies tonight, to see “The Help.”  It was beyond fabulous.  If you loved the book, you will adore the movie.  I’m basing this solely on the fact that I loved the book and the movie and since I am the final word on what is and isn’t great, you should pretty much just trust me.  But the two girls I went with loved it too, and so did my mom and all three women are fantastic, so there you go.  Just trust me, go see it.

I had a lovely time this evening.  I really love making new friends and realizing that they love the same things as me.  That they swoon over Jane Eyre, had (ahem, still have) a crush on Mr. Darcy;  and are willing to admit that they got completely obsessed with Twilight when the books first came out (what?! you know you all did too!).  It’s even better when those friends are fabulous, and smart, and funny.  Thanks, Em and Whit.  You are both a-mazing.

Loved the book, loved the movie!! One of my faves. Have you read the book “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan”? Probably my all time favorite book. It is now a movie in limited release theatres.
Gorgeous look! Love the skirt and the top — I have been checking your shop daily for the past week ;) Do you think you’ll be doing any solid color pencil skirts?

My girlfriends and I went to see the help last night and it was sold out! We were devastated. On another note, I think that outfit looks great and I’m glad you didn’t put a cardigan on. You are too cute!

So, sometimes I think you are much too gorgeous for me to hang out with, but, I’m so glad that you don’t care!!!

The movie was wonderously wonderful. I can’t keep thinking about how much I loved it. And, I’m oh so glad that you came along. It made the night that much better. I put in Mr. Darcy today, just to make sure he had the same effect, and he did, of course. Swoon… Always. What should we read next?
