a very Shiney giveaway.

Hi-lo.  How was your weekend?  Mine was fabulous.  Mostly because I got to hang out with Mr. (he’s my favorite), ride the ferry to Whidbey Island, and wear this little dreamy top that I ordered from Ruche a few weeks back.  Isn’t it heavenly?  I really love pairing mint with red, even if I felt a bit like a stick of candy at church yesterday… and don’t mind the death like complexion.  Allergies were in full swing yesterday.  
But enough about me…

I know.  She’s a knock-out.



She’s an optimist, a writer, a lover/seller of all things delightfully vintage, and oh yeah, she’s a dedicated champion for inner city kids.



I tell you what.  This girl is such an inspiration.  She’s trying to raise $20,000 by the end of October so she can send inner city high school students to college.  I don’t know about you, but when I was her age (you know like a few years ago) I wasn’t thinking about how I could earn $20,000 dollars to send someone else to college.



But she is.

Because she shines.

And she encourages everyone else around her to do it too.

Which is what takes her beauty to that whole other level.
