I make really good sugar cookies. I’m not trying to toot my own horn, but it’s true. It’s not really bragging anyway because it’s my mom’s recipe. And any recipe of my mom’s is like out of this world good. Like these sugar cookies. They are so good that Mr. will just stand at the counter and eat 5 in one sitting. They are the kind of good that you just don’t get sick of. Seriously, if left to my own devices, I could eat 10 of these a day. And since I believe that all good things should be shared, here you go:
Sugar Cookies
preheat oven: 375 degrees
1 cup butter
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Cream butter and sugar, blend in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, mix well. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out on a floured surface. Cut out, place on a cookies sheet, bake 7-9 minutes.
Let cool, frost.
(I recommend a cream cheese frosting. It’s the most delectable.)

I’ve been looking for a good sugar cookie recipe for the holidays … going to have to try this out! And I don’t think I NEED more blogs to fill up my bloglovin feed, but that shirt Katie’s wearing is amazing and I want to see more of her style. :)
I’m sooo going to make some of those cookies in my new mixer!! I looked at your closet. It’s great. You need my closet I don’t know what to do with it.

I am amazed by how many options you have to wear. No wonder you always look totally fabulous. My closet is sad comparatively. Loved your guest post
Ok, this is crazy, but I know Katie! We use to teach together, like 3 years ago! I had no idea she had that blog, I’m so excited!
