I discovered the other day, the overwhelming benefit of having a faux leather bomber jacket. Those babies keep you exceptionally warm. In Arizona I shunned this jacket, pushing it to the back of the closet for it’s sweat inducing lack of breathability. But now I live in Seattle, and it’s cold here. A wet cold. And I don’t want to breathe, I want to be warm.
Incidentally, I’ve never been so happy to be cold, because I am thoroughly convinced that Seattle is the most fabulous city in the world.
Happy Friday everyone. After today, the littles are out of school until the 3rd of January.
This both thrills and terrifies me at the same time.
And if you’re a mother you understand why.
love the stripe and chevron combo, cori!
Love the outfit! and since I know you don’t like grammar errors… did you mean ‘breathe’ ?????
hahahaha! yes that’s what I meant. thanks colette. that’s what I get for writing a post with littles climbing all over me.
I love the skirt and top combo!
LOVE this look! so gorgeous!

I love your skirt! The chevron stripes are the best :)
Pretty outfit. I would never think to pair those patterns, and it looks great.
As for terrifying and thrilling….try home schooling three littles. ;) Every day those feelings course through me! Enjoy your Christmas vacation with them.
I immediately saw that gorgeous chevron skirt and scrolled down to see where you bought it…and you made it! Wow. Paired with the stripes? Brilliant. :-)

Absolutely beautiful skirt! I’m inspired by the fact that you made it. And I love pairing long skirts with tall boots. Super cute. This is my first time by your blog – it’s adorable and you’re a beautiful mama :) – Cas
