styling inspiration: the navy.

I’m sorry, but these styling posts are really fun for me right now.   It’s like window shopping and playing dress-up at the same time.



And since doing either of those in real life right now with my large belly is sort of depressing, I’ve taken to pretending I’ve got a waist again and making these.  It’s kinda fun.  Also, I feel it should be noted that the moment you get pregnant and can no longer fit into normal people clothes, everyone and their mother comes out with the most fabulous line of summer clothing, possibly ever. (Bathing suits included)



And none of it fits me right now!

Waaaaaaaah…

Also, I sort of miss wearing my skirts.  Especially the navy awning skirt.  It will always be my favorite.  



Okay, pity party over.  I’m really into the greens and yellows available everywhere this summer.  That vibrant kelly and lemony cornflower are popping up all over my closet as of late.  I’ve always been a sucker for color, but with this drab Seattle summer we’ve been having and my expanding tummy, I’m finding dressing in these two shades is an instant pick-me-up, and they make even knit t-shirts look chic.  Trust me.
