Victoria, BC.


Mr. and I took advantage of having Grandma in town last weekend and hopped on a boat up to Victoria, BC.



We could not have asked for better weather.



I was more than impressed by the beautiful cityscape, the cobblestone streets and the classic architecture.

Our hotel was one of those lovely ancient numbers, with classic furnishings and right on the water.  We both enjoyed the private balcony and view of the inner harbor.   



One of my favorite stops on our first day out was the immense BC Parliament building with it’s Neo-baroque architecture and teal roofs.  Did I mention they light it up at night?  My goodness it was breathtaking.  My favorite spot by far was the front steps, which were fantastic for people watching, and resting my poor pregnant feet.
