Let’s all give Anthropologie a collective virtual high five for their awesome maternity friendly dresses shall we? Good. I’m not usually a huge fan of bird prints, but I fell in love with the silhouette and overall funkiness of this dress the minute I found it hanging on the rack. And ladies, it has pockets. I can’t even… Thank the stars, it worked with my bump. Also, and I think this is important to note: it’s super twirly. Every woman needs a twirly, pocketed dress. Even women with an ahem, increasingly large baby bump. I can’t wait to remix this funky frock all through the fall.
Dress: Anthropologie. (on sale now!) Cardigan: Loft (similar, different color). Flats: Old Navy.
Happy Monday!

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it! It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL on you… but as a 6′ tall amazon woman, it would be a mini-dress on me :( I wish they had a longer version!
This is the perfect dress! You make the best maternity outfits from regular clothes!
I love this! Outfits that work before during and after pregnancy are the best. Great shoes too, so pretty.

I have literally never done this before, but based on your blog I went out to Anthro and bought one today! I am one week behind you (ish), due November 8. It’s so cute. We’re going on our babymoon to Vermont this week, and I plan to bring it. Do you think it would work with knee-high brown leather boots and a cardi, or would that be too country-western? Thanks!
Sarah,
YAY! I think it would look amazing with boots and a cardi. In fact I was just lamenting how hot it is here right now, because I totally want wear this dress with my brown riding boots! Dang AZ heat! Have fun on your babymoon. Vermont sounds divine!
I’m so excited for all these new moms. I have a 5 month old and she’s so great. Pregnancy is so special and an important time to feel good about how you look. I’m replying to your post to give you my contact info if you ever decide to sell your bird dress. I missed the sale and it sold out and I’ve been searching ever since. Please email me at peonies38@gmail.com if you decide you want to part with it. I’d be so grateful. Thanks!!!
