On Saturday night, Mr. and I were folding laundry. (I know, we’re a party.)
He pulled these pants out of the basket, holds them up to me and says, “How do you like your cow pants? Folded or hung up?”
“Excuse me, my what?” I answered (only semi) indignantly.
“Your cow pants.”
“Did you just call my ikat pants, cow pants?”
“Uh, yeah.” He answered tentatively. “They sort of look like that to me?”
I looked down at them. “Huh, I guess they kind of do… but, good rule of thumb: never under any circumstance call anything related to an 8 month pregnant woman a cow.”
“Duly noted.”

In his defense, the more I look at them, the more they do look like cow pants. But I still love them and their navy brother, which I also happen to own. (I know, pathetic.) So here’s my question, Loft still has the matching blazer, and it’s on sale plus 40% off. Should I add a cow blazer to my closet as well, and if so which color? You can see both here.
I hang them, by the way. My cow pants. ;-)
Say it with me, ‘Bless their hearts.’ Sometimes i tell Hubs that it’s a good thing he’s pretty ;)

LOL! I have the same pants in the navy color (see here and here ). They are so comfy and so out there. I love them. Instant statement maker. I also have the pink ikat shorts.
And given that the blazer is on sale, and that you have a style blog, I say go for it. :)
I will forever think of ikat as the “cow pants” now. Lol

Those cow pats look good on you!
Sounds like you were in a good mood that day. If he said that when you were a little emotional and hormonal, it could have been disasterous.
Haha, so funny! Can totally see my husband saying that.
I love the blazer… both look great, but I think I’m leaning towards beige. Picturing with fun colored jeans! :)
I love men. They say it like they see it. You look great in them, nothing bovine-like.

Great look :). Boys say the darndest things.
I had the had the hardest time trying to figure out your hubs would call them cow pants. Then, it occurred to me. The pattern and color, yes. I mean, I grew up with cows for heaven’s sake! Maybe I’m the one who should take a nap! You are looking just so gorgeous lately. Good luck rounding out these last few weeks.
Mens !!!! Love those pants !!!
