I think a pair of funky patterned pants with a sequin top are just perfect for going out.
Even if going out only means leaving the house for the first time in a week, and it’s just for a trip to Downeast home to “discuss” furniture. I used to think sequins were very formal and should be reserved for prom only, but I kind of love all the new daytime sparkles we’re seeing now.
And no, I don’t think you need a reason to get dolled up.
It’s Monday, that’s enough reason for me.

Mr.’s winging his way back to Seattle for another week, but I’m infinitely grateful that he cut his trip short last week to come home and help nurse me back to health all weekend. It worked. Just having him home makes me feel better.
