mint, and jalapeño jelly.

I can’t tell you how happy we all are to be here in Cache Valley.  A few days after we arrived spring decided to show up, and oh my goodness it’s been heavenly.  Sunny and low seventies.  Perfect weather.  Last night as we were driving the tree lined streets of Providence I spotted a few blossoms poking out from otherwise barren branches.  I pointed them out to Mr. and said, “look we didn’t miss spring yet!”  I’m such a season person.  I love having all four of them, and for the last 4 years we either lived in constant summer or constant rain, so I’m sort of savoring the chance to live them all.  (And no, I don’t mind snow…)
Do you ever find yourself sort of wearing the same color scheme over and over without realizing it?  I just noticed that I’ve unconsciously worn black, white and mint 3 times in the last week.  I’m sure there’s some deeper meaning as to why I’m drawn to those particular colors right now.  That or I just really like them.  It’s probably the latter.
Anyways,
Happy Monday everyone!
I’ve got no less than 3 rooms to finish unpacking, emails to send, a photo shoot to style, littles to get to and from school, my baby to feed, change, bathe, cuddle, etc and about a million other things to do.  It’s promising to be a very manic Monday, but I’m going to make Mr. take me out to lunch at Sweetly Divine because they have the best roast beef sandwiches with jalapeño jelly that I’ve ever tasted.  And sometimes, you just need one of those.

  3. If you’re a fan of jalapeno jelly you should try Stonewall Kitchen’s apple jalapeno jelly. It’s amazing and if you slow cook frozen swedish meatballs in it they’re absolutely amazing!

Oh my God. I just found your blog. I am 4’11, and I LOVE the look of these pants, but always assumed I could never wear them, because even the smallest sizes they carry are too long and look funny.. I clicked the link for the pants– are they kids sizes? I never would have thought they could look so chic…
