Welp. It’s after Memorial Day, and you know what that means. We can now officially wear all the white pants we want. I’m not going to lie and say that I haven’t been wearing my white pants all along, because that whole “no white pants between labor and memorial day” rule is dumb.
Plus, ya’ll know how I feel about white pants…
We took the littles and left town for the long weekend. We really needed to get away, and Park City is only an hour and a half from our front door, so yeah. The weather was divine and in a strange and fortuitous turn of events we randomly ran into my in-laws, who were down from Idaho and happened to be staying in the exact same hotel as us, a mere 3 doors down from our room. (Neither of us knew the other was going to be there) I mean, what are the chances? Of all the gin joints in all the world…
That’s serendipity.
I’ll write more about our little trip later, but let’s just say a long weekend away made me so stoked for summer. The littles are out of school this Friday and I can’t wait to spend the next several months making homemade lemonade, riding bikes to the farmer’s market, running through sprinklers, and taking trips up to Bear Lake. This summer, it’s going to be epic…
