The other night we hopped on the subway at Columbus circle and rode down to Soho. I absolutely adore Soho but hadn’t been there since I came to New York last September. The cobblestone streets and high end shops are so charming, plus I heard the there was this amazing Ukrainian restaurant that just opened up down there and I wanted to surprise Craig, since he hasn’t had Russian food really since he left his mission 12 years ago. Oh my gosh it was so good, and I ate way too much. After dinner we wandered around the streets for a while, everything was closed and real quiet. I love being out in New York when it’s late. If you find just the right spot it seems like the city might actually sleep.
Best part of the night was standing on the street corner watching the moon rise between the buildings. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a star in New York city, but the moon, that’s a different story.
Dress: Gap. (sold out. similar here.)
Belt: TJ Maxx.
Shoes: Target.
Bag: Target.
PS. these shoes I’m wearing are literally the most comfortable pair of sandals I’ve ever worn. I’ve been walking all over the city all week and my feet haven’t even felt it. I didn’t even have to break them in, they were perfect, right out of the box.
i heart your sandals <3
