So… last weekend Jack Frost showed up and painted our entire town white for three days reminding us all that winter is just around the corner. I love getting dressed in the winter because it’s all about layers. Layers are my thing. I especially love this time of year because it gives me the chance to layer trends, and that is the most fun of all. My favorite trends for this year’s chilly season involve: cashmere, classic prints, ball caps, leather, luxe sweatshirts, bordeaux and lots of sparkle. The more sparkle, the better.

thanks for your comment Jennie! I agree, most of the items are rather pricey, although I do own the short sleeved j crew sweatshirt (yesterday’s post) and it’s fab. With this post I was really just trying to highlight a few winter trends that I find dreamy(in fact most of the items I included aren’t even available for sale anymore). Thanks for the input. I’ll definitely include similar items at a more reasonable price point in future posts. (although I would probably give my left arm for that burberry scarf. haha ;-) Thanks!
I love winter because I love cardigans. I love to layer with them and try to have one in every color. Love the leather skirt here.
