Sometimes I feel like I capture much more of my real life, as a mom, a business owner, and a person on Instagram. And since life has been really beautiful and fun, but also really scary and nerve-racking lately, I thought you might to see a little bit of that side of it as well.
lighthouse hopping with my sisters on the Oregon coast.
my 3 oldest littles, who aren’t so little anymore. :’-(
Checking out the sunbathers and sitting on the docks watching the fishing boats.
we passed $20,000 on our kickstarter over the weekend. To say that the last two weeks have been a rollercoaster of emotions would be the understatement of the century. I’ve been equal parts excited/terrified. When we’re having a lot of success I feel on top of the world. When things slow down, I am scared to death that we won’t fund. For the most part its been an awesome enlightening experience, and I’ve learned so much. Also, doing a kickstarter is really, really hard, and also really really fun. And a lot of work.
My baby is getting so big. And she knows exactly what she wants. She knows her own mind and boy do I love it.
(not being sarcastic)
I will never get tired of just watching the ocean do it’s thing. Sunny or stormy it always captivates me.
The house we stayed in had a next door neighbor with this perfect little picket fence all painted mint. I swear I hyperventilated when I saw it. Someone asked me where my inspiration comes from. A lot of times it’s the world around me that has nothing to do with clothes. A color or a shape that I find in nature or otherwise, just lights the design fire in me. This little mint fence has already inspired several ideas cooking away in my head, waiting to be brought to life.
Private tour of the fire station made my kids feel pretty legit. Thanks Pops!
We went to a real life English Garden. It was so lovely, you should have seen the tulips! And then I hummed “I am the walrus” for several days in a row…
I cannot get enough of my Ava. She is pure joy to me, and I am obsessed. Also her hair is so perfect.
I told you she knows her mind. VIP ride on the fire truck and she’s all blasé like it’s nothing.
“Popcorn popping on the apricot tree…” Also, general conference was so inspiring.
I’m a legit soccer mom now (minus the minivan), and I completely love it. I mean. LOOK. AT. HER.
