Did you guys have a great Mother’s day?  Mine was perfect.  I told you my husband is Mr. thoughtful gift-giver and this year he went above and beyond, and he even got the kids involved to.  It was pretty special.  I kept looking around yesterday, thinking to myself, “Man I’ve got a really awesome life.”

There’s nothing I love more than a great pleated skirt.  Well, unless that pleated skirt also happens to be striped.  I love that the most, so of course this skirt is a new closet favorite, and at under $50 it’s super affordable.  I don’t know about you, but I’ve been all about soft pink this season, and oddly, I have very little soft-pink in my closet, so I’ve been on the look out for pretty pieces to add.  These pumps are literally my favorite pair of shoes right now.  Just about everyday I go into my closet, pull out these shoes, and think, “Okay, what can I wear these with?”  Haha, priorities.

Also, I was on the lookout for a lovely soft-pink sweater for a good 2 months, and I finally found one!  And, double bonus, it’s the perfect lightweight sweater to wear this time of year.
