The Nordstrom Anniversary sale early access starts today. I’m sure your feed is being flooded, so I’ll try to keep this short and sweet and share with you why you should care about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, how to shop it now, and a few tips and tricks for getting the most out of the sale for your wardrobe.
So it’s a sale. What’s the big deal? The big deal about the Nordstrom anniversary sale is that these are new fall items deeply discounted. Most sales happen at the end of the season, to clear things out, but these are brand new for fall pieces, fully stocked at deep discounts. It’s literally the only sale like it.
Shop it early: I wrote about this earlier this week, but Nordstrom card holders get early access to the sale. Because stock is limited getting to shop early is a huge benefit (buy it before it sells out!). There are three great options for cardholders and I guarantee one will work for you, even if you don’t “do” credit cards. Sale goes live to everyone on July 16th so hurry hurry!
Tips and Tricks:
Shop online. Nordy’s is a madhouse right now, (trust me, I live by the Flagship store) and while I like the hustle and bustle, I prefer to do my actual buying via the inter webs. Stock is better online anyway, and you can get it shipped for free to your door.
Buy your winter coat now. This is the perfect opportunity to pick up a coat for the colder months. A lot of times I buy my coats in January when they are discounted, but right now you can get brand new seasonal styles for a steal. There are so many gorgeous pink coats this year, I’m trying to pick my favorite…
Handbags and accessories are where it’s at. The real benefit of this sale (for me, anyway) is picking up handbags and accessories that don’t often go on sale. Getting a new Rebecca Minkoff purse or Michael Kors watch for $100 off makes the whole sale worthwhile.
