I was at the store buying something while I was wearing this outfit the other day. I pulled out my (striped) wallet to pay and the girl at the counter goes, “whoa, you like stripes.” I couldn’t quite tell if it was meant to be an insult or just a statement of fact. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t meant to be a compliment. In any case, I can’t deny it. I love stripes, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. (Or ever.) I’m always looking for yet another great breton striped shirt. No matter how many I own… here’s another lovely one from Loft. I love the fit and it’s very lightweight and great for summer. Speaking of which, this jacket is super lightweight, drapey and soft as silk. Perfect summer into fall piece.
By the way, these are probably the best skinny jeans I’ve ever owned, my very favorite, most flattering pair and they are currently 25% off. (I’ve never seen them on sale before) So I thought I’d give you a heads up. I don’t know what Madewell is doing with their denim, but it’s good, it’s so good. I call them magic jeans.

I love stripes, too. :) I realized I have quite a few striped shirts in my closet, but they are so practical, I’m keeping them all.
Question about the jacket: is yours big enough that it zips up? I have it in XS, looks cute, but doesn’t zip up. Afraid to go bigger and look too boxy.
I can zip mine up with a little room to spare and it doesn’t feel boxy at all to me. Hope this helps!
