This time of year, in Seattle I feel like I’m living in a fall wonderland.  I mean, look at those colors.

Swoon.

A rainy fall wonderland, that’s Seattle this time of year, and I love it.

Speaking of which, it rained all weekend while we had a whole bunch of family in town for Ethan’s baptism into our church, it made for quite a cozy time, all tucked inside with the rain tapping on the roof, a full house of people I love most. But now everyone is gone again and I’m sad…  :-(

When it’s raining like this I pretty much live in my rain boots.  I swear by my Hunter’s (kid version- much better shaft height for shorties) but I’ve seen so many gorgeous options from other brands in the last few years.  For instance, these Joules are a great alternative to the Hunter’s if you want a pair of navy rain boots but don’t want to invest quite as much.  And I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of obsessed with these plaid rain boots.  Swoon.
