If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, then you know that I’ve pretty much never met a stripe I didn’t like, but add some ruffles to those stripes.  Forget about it…

I am literally obsessed with this top.  You know it’s bad when you start like, actively thinking about all the different ways you can wear your new shirt.  Today I opted for a simple jeans and not-your-average t-shirt look.  You know, let the ruffles speak for themselves…   This color is selling out fast so hurry your buns over and snag one before it’s gone.  Or it also comes in this pretty blue color as well.

So we went camping over the weekend, and it was so much fun.  There is nothing like camping in the Pacific Northwest.  We took a ferry from Edmonds over to Kingston then drove over the bridge and set up camp right on the water by the hood canal.  The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful, sunny and warm, but not too hot.  I barely needed a jacket at night.  We spent all day Saturday on the canal, paddling around in our kayak and swimming in the bluish green water.  It’s seriously so beautiful out there.  If you live in Washington, you have to go see it.

But I discovered something about myself.  I am the worst camping sleeper everrrrrr… I think it comes from having an amazing mattress.  Seriously our bed is so comfy, only now it’s ruined me, because when I’m sleeping on the ground I just cannot get comfortable and then I’m tossing and turning all night.  And my husband (who could literally sleep on a rock and wake up like a spring chicken) sleeps like a baby.  Ironically we have a really great air mattress that I told Craig to leave at home because “I didn’t need it.”

Ha.

And about 1 am in the morning miserable me was like, “Seriously, what was I thinking??”

I can tell you what, I’ve never been so happy to see my own bed again…
